The WA Carpentry Company Story
Prior to the company’s establishment, Greg began his career in 2000 with Timber Constructions WA, completing his carpentry apprenticeship. He steadily advanced through the company, and in 2009, he assumed the role of Lead Carpenter. Greg later ventured into self-employment before joining Onsite Rental Group as the Yard and Building Supervisor for their portables division. In late 2012, he transitioned to the role of Buildings Supervisor at Savannah Engineers. After relocating to Perth, Greg opened The WA Carpentry Company in 2014.
Although not originally from a construction background, Sally gained business experience on the job and by completing her Certificate IV in Business Management. Through her time managing The WA Carpentry Company, Sally has developed a deep understanding of both the trade and the business structure.
Since its early days, The WA Carpentry Company has grown from a single work van to a fleet of seven. With a growing team of qualified carpenters and apprentices, both male and female, equipped with the skills and knowledge to handle a wide range of carpentry and construction projects, the company continues to thrive.

Amazing work done on a tricky job. Had a large platform constructed for a home theatre and it is neat and stable. A friend in the building industry later told me that he was very impressed with the workmanship and said that whoever built it had a lot of pride in their work.
