Property Maintenance in Duncraig

The project took place at a residential property in Duncraig where the existing decking and wooden balustrading on the second story of the building had deteriorated due to rot and exposure to the elements.

The scope of the project involved removing the damaged decking and balustrading, preparing the area for new installations, replacing the decking and balustrading with new pine wood components and installing a timber pergola frame, which the homeowner opted to finish independently.

We began by carefully dismantling the rotted decking and balustrading. The area was then thoroughly inspected and prepared for the installation of new decking and balustrading. The new decking and balustrading were crafted from pine wood, chosen for its strength, affordability, and ease of installation.

Once we had installed the new decking and balustrading, the team was asked to install a timber pergola frame. This was constructed using high-quality timber and was designed to provide the homeowner with the foundation for an outdoor structure that they could complete themselves.

The project was successfully completed with the replacement structures significantly improving the safety and appearance of the outdoor space, and provided a foundation for the homeowner to continue enhancing their property.
