This project was carried out at a residential property in Alexander Heights. The homeowners wanted to upgrade their front entrance. We were commissioned to install new, stylish rebated double doors made of solid wood.
The first phase of the project involved removing the old front doors and evaluating the condition of the door frame. The team carefully dismantled the old doors to avoid damage to the surrounding structure, ensuring that the frame was left intact for preparation. Once we had removed the doors, the team prepared the door frame for the new installation. This involved ensuring that the frame was correctly aligned and ready to accommodate the new doors.
The new double doors were crafted from solid wood, the rebated design allowed the two doors to fit together seamlessly, providing a substantial upgrade over the previous doors, offering better insulation and soundproofing.
Finally, to complement the new doors, chic oblong entrance handles were fitted, adding a modern touch to the traditional solid wood design. A deadbolt was also installed, providing enhanced security for the homeowners.
The successful installation of the solid wood rebated double doors, transformed the front entrance of the home. The new doors significantly improved the security and aesthetic appeal of the property, providing a modern yet classic look that blended well with the home’s exterior.
