This project took place at a residential property in North Perth, where the homeowners requested the installation of a custom pantry and linen closet. We were tasked with fabricating shelving on-site to ensure that the storage solutions fit perfectly within the available space. The project utilised melamine panels and pine timber to create a functional yet aesthetically pleasing result.
We began by taking measurements and layout planning to maximise the available space in both the pantry and linen closet. Once we had established the dimensions and layout, we began fabricating the shelves on-site.
We made the shelves from a combination of melamine panels and pine timber. These materials were chosen for their durability, easy-to-clean surface, and sleek appearance.
Melamine is a popular material for shelving due to its resistance to stains and moisture, making it ideal for areas like pantries and closets. Pine timber was also incorporated into the design, adding natural warmth and stability to the structure.
Once the custom shelves had been fabricated, each of them were securely fastened into place ensuring they provided ample storage while maintaining a clean, organised look.
The project was successfully completed and the homeowners were delighted with the result, noting the improved functionality and the seamless integration of the new units into their home.
