This project took place at a private residence in Gidgegannup, Western Australia. The client got in touch wanting us to create two separate decorative pieces for their home. Each making use of wooden decorative lining techniques.
The primary material used for this project was high-gloss wood lining boards in a deep black colour, chosen for its sleek, polished finish that would seamlessly integrate with the home’s contemporary decor.
We began in the master bedroom, installing the decorative lining boards on the wardrobe partition. The boards were precisely cut and fitted to create a smooth, uniform surface that added depth and a sense of luxury to the room. We then moved to the kitchen, where we applied the decorative lining boards to the island, transforming it into a bold statement piece.
The homeowners were highly satisfied with the outcome, noting that the decorative linings brought a sense of sophistication and refinement to their home. The attention to detail and precision in installation ensured that the finished product was not only visually stunning but also durable and practical for everyday use.
