This project took place at a college in Swanbourne. The college’s administration commissioned us to fit out six classrooms with specialised acoustic panelling, whiteboards and aluminium framed doors.
We began with installing a combination of soft and hard acoustic panels to achieve effective sound absorption and diffusion. The goal was to create classrooms with better sound control, reducing noise and echoes to improve the learning environment.
In addition to the acoustic panelling, whiteboards were installed in each classroom. These whiteboards were positioned to maximise visibility and accessibility for both teachers and students.
Finally, we finished off the classroom fitout with the installation of large aluminium framed doors. These doors provided easy access while also contributing to the modern aesthetic of the learning spaces.
The college’s administration was happy with the results, and were pleased that the vision for each classroom was successfully brought to life.
