This project was completed at a residential property in Banksia Grove. The homeowner requested we build a new patio structure in their backyard. We used treated timber to construct the patio and installed steel wire through the columns to support vines that the homeowner intended to grow.
We began by taking measurements of the space. The area that we were asked to erect the structure in was quite narrow, so it was important to optimise the structure to make best use of the space we had. Once we had gotten a clear understanding of the requirements, we began carefully constructing the timber framework.
We then moved onto installing the steel wires through the columns of the patio, to support the homeowner’s plan of growing vines to create a green wall.
The project was successfully completed, resulting in a beautifully crafted patio structure that met the homeowner’s vision. The treated timber provided a strong, durable framework, while the steel wire allowed for the growth of vines to create a natural green wall.
